I am working. But I've slowed down a lot. This is part of the reason.

This crazy lady is my Cookie, aka The Little Queen. I have been spending every minute of the past week outside feeding her, teasing her, watching her roll on my grass and chase imaginary mice, or worrying why she's not home yet. To be rit: I am obsessed.

What's even more ironic is that until she showed up a month ago, I hated cats.

She talks to me constantly. She's even started purring. This morning I was able to touch her without being hissed at. Good times are coming! Ha ha ha.

I've photographed a bunch of pages from The Animator's Survival Kit that speak about drawing. Because there seems to be a movement away from being able to draw in animation circles and it seems like the only animator who couldn't draw was Tex Avery, and he wasn't an animator.

Also to show my family how important the hours I'm spending in my studio drawing are--and that they're actually a REAL part of my animation studies.
