Wow, I see that it's been a while.

Not through any fault of my own. On the afternoon of the 17th, while I was at work, we had a snow squall that came with a massive windstorm. The wind gusts were so strong that the children at school thought we were under attack. Our trampoline was lifted straight off the ground and hurled across our 6-foot fence right into our neighbour's house, punching holes into his siding and taking out our wifi cable. We were left without internet until the 23rd, an entire week in which we did nothing but watch animated DVDs.

I actually really enjoyed the break, to be honest. I mean, I'm supposed to be watching animated films--I'm studying animation, right? So it was a good excuse to spend time with my children while still continuing my education.

Then it was my birthday, and Christmas, and we travelled overnight. So this is the first time in two weeks I've been able to sit down and write here.

I'm not quite finished the stack of papers I had set aside for this challenge, but I've done over 320 pages. I need to move on. My husband has decided that he has a project he wants done within the next few months and I have to practice other things. I'll continue to draw bodies, but it will be as a daily sketching habit rather then a challenge.

I think I will say then that I made it--I am officially finished this first challenge.

And now, because it's a Sunday afternoon and I'm techincally supposed to be on break, I have a headache and my oldest daughter is demanding the use of my computer, I'm going to reward myself by going to have a nap.

On to the next!! Faces. Yay.
