I'm nearly finished the stack of papers I set aside for my Three Sketchbook figure challenge, and rather then go all the way and actually finish it I'm prepping for my next challenges. I need to know what I'm doing next because if I don't, and I finish those papers, I will be lose a long chunk of time that I can't afford while I decide what to do next. I'm scared to let go of the momentum I've picked up from doing this figure challenge and I will do everything I can to prevent that sorry state of affairs.
I currently have several things I want to do next:
Ahmed Aldoori's 100 Head challenge
Expression drawings
The modified prompt list that I've created by combining several different books from my shelves.
I started the 100 head challenge last summer 2024 and never finished it. I'm beginning it again, as I'm interested to see if the past year of drawing has made any difference on my skills.
I am still working my second job this coming week so my posting schedule will continue to be weekly for a while.

Above, in no apparent order, are screenshots of quotes that I found particularly important from my reading in The Animator's Survival Kit. All about drawing, of course, and its importance.
Below are all the artistic elements and principles I've encountered so far, distilled into a single page that's now both hanging above my desk and out in my phone, where I can see it everytime I want to, because good luck getting me to remember any of it.

Believe it or not, despite working two jobs and late into the night every night last week, I managed to actually get some drawing done.

I have no idea how much I'm actually going to get done next week. I guess there's only one way to find out. Just a few more hours until Monday drags its sorry, weekend-hungover arse in through the door and the circus starts up again.
