“Why can’t I draw like---? It’s because you haven't done it a hundred times. This is a reminder that knowledge will never replace line mileage. If you want to get good at drawing, you have to do so much drawing that you sort of bore yourself into high taste....It’s actually way higher than that. Any artist that you love, any professional has done thousands of it..."

I haven't drawn much this week. On Monday, I spent the evening trying to tame the overgrown jungle that's become my poor garden. Wednesday was grocery night, and by the time I came home, I was so tired I sat down in my chair, looked at my computer, and then went to bed. I've been working full days most of this past month and even though I we need the extra money, it tends to leave my body so tired that my mind doesn't exactly hum with motivation.

I'm late posting. It's already Thursday. It was kind of a miserable day at work, to be honest. It's been a never-ending week and I'm tired. The last thing I really want to do is sit my butt in this chair and draw.
