The big news this week is that the Cat Redistribution System has decided I'm worthy of being favoured. Whether or not the cat would agree is still up for debate. But she keeps coming back, even if she won't let me near her. That's the power of food, a full tummy, and a sun-drenched dirt spot in a garden where nothing can reach you to eat you. The annoying homeowner that keeps trying to talk to you is just a minor inconvenience.
I call her Cookie Queen, because she's calico and looks exactly like a chocolate chip cookie. Mostly, she just gets called Little Queen. She knows who she is.

I rearranged my studio to prioritize drawing, moving out an entire bookshelf to make space for tables and my drawing table, which had been shoved to the side for nearly two years. My seven-year-old son says the refreshed space looks good. That too has yet to be decided.
