"The water does not flow until the faucet is turned on.” -- Louis L' amour
The most important thing skills in animation are storytelling and imagination. Skills that are less important are technical skill and style.
It's the last day of August.
When I started this challenge a couple of months ago, my goal was to have 700 pages of figures drawn by the end of September. Need I remind you of the date. And where I currently am in the challenge. I could be falsely optimistic, but I'm a realist. After crunching the numbers, I really don't think I'm going to make my goals.

Look. I'm attempting to get to the point where I can draw like this:

From "Drawn to Life: Vol. 2."
James Fujii is still an active animator and artist so if Stanchfield considers his drawings good enough to include them in the book, with praise, then that's how I want to draw too.
On to the next.
